2.15 Titles, Labels, and Tick Marks

Let’s take yet another look at that plot with the fireworks and the days of the week.  When we build it without altering the default size and label settings, the names of the individual weekdays overlap with one another, as shown below.

In the previous section, we addressed the overlap issue among the x-axis labels by changing the size of the entire plot.  Alternatively, we could have rotated the labels, using the plt.xticks() function, as shown here.
