0.1 Touring Lobster Land: The Rides

Lobster Land’s signature attractions are its rides.

For generations, tourists and locals strolling along Lobster Claw Avenue have seen the Ferris Bueller (Lobster Land’s ferris wheel, which boasts some beautiful ocean views), the Lobster Claw (Lobster Land’s signature roller coaster), the Wild River Log Flume, and the Big Swings, form the “skyline” signature of the park.

Lobster Land’s biggest, most thrilling roller coaster is the Lobster Claw.

Riders sometimes wait for multiple ride cycles to grab front car seats on the Lobster Claw.  These seats offer some of the most exciting views at Lobster Land!4

The Ferris Bueller, shown below, soars even higher than the Lobster Claw, but without the high speeds and stomach-churning drops.  For riders positioned in the upper half of the wheel, the Ferris Bueller offers views with several miles of visibility out into the Atlantic Ocean.

On clear days like the one shown here, the Ferris Bueller offers phenomenal views of the Atlantic Ocean5

For younger visitors, the Lobster Junior is a fairly popular alternative to the Lobster Claw.  As the picture below shows, the Lobster Junior evokes a mixture of joy and fear in its younger riders.

In recent years, Lobster Land has greatly expanded its water attractions.  The Wild River Log Flume, shown below, has been a park mainstay for decades.

Standing up during the drop portion of the ride is generally discouraged on the Log Flume! 7
